WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are little text files containing data that your browser saves on your computer's hard drive whenever you open a website. Particular preferences for a site, for instance, are kept in those files so you do not need to configure them again on every visit. We rely on cookies so the site keeps working correctly and stays easy to use. That covers:

ANALYTICAL COOKIES

We measure how our website is used with the help of a number of third party tools. We do so in order to spot and repair errors on our site, to make it easier to use and to try out new functionalities or design (the so-called A/B tests). Those tools use cookies for this.

ADVERTISING COOKIES

We work with advertising networks in order to display advertisements for our products and promotions on other websites to users who are interested in them. Those advertising networks use cookies to build a unique profile, which keeps a record of the pages you have opened, so that the right advertisements can be shown on that basis.

This happens anonymously. No personal data, such as a name or address details, is therefore kept, nor is any link made with your account at Meroda Cosmetics Cookies also serve to connect the display of an advertisement with a possible purchase of the product, so that a fee can be paid to the advertising network on that basis.
